Ayra Starr, who concluded the previous year by teaming up with Wizkid and featuring on Bien’s “My Baby” in early 2023, is now focusing on her solo career. She announced her first headline tour, “21: The World Tour,” on Instagram on July 12, expressing her excitement about finally having her own show after opening for other artists and performing at festivals.
The tour is divided into three parts: North America, Africa and Australia, and Europe. It kicked off in Houston, Texas on July 27. To date, Starr has performed nine shows in cities including Boston, Chicago, New York City, and Toronto. Her next performance is scheduled for Wednesday, September 6, in Charlotte, North Carolina. The North American leg of the tour is set to conclude on September 19 in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Without much of a break, Starr will embark on her journey across Africa and Australia, starting on September 30 in Gold Coast, Australia. The European leg will commence on November 3 in Stockholm, Sweden and conclude with a grand finale in Zurich, Switzerland on November 30.
For those planning to attend any of the remaining shows, Starr’s setlist from her September 2 show at Webster Hall in New York City has been documented by setlist.fm.
