The Renaissance World Tour has been a hotspot for guest appearances. During Beyoncé’s birthday concert in Inglewood, California, she upped the ante by inviting music icon Diana Ross and rapper Kendrick Lamar to join her on stage. But the surprises didn’t stop there. On Saturday, September 23, as the tour made its way to her hometown of Houston, Texas, Beyoncé introduced another local star for an eagerly awaited performance.
At the NRG Stadium, Beyoncé and Megan Thee Stallion delighted the sold-out audience with a fiery rendition of their chart-topping and Grammy Award-winning song, “Savage (Remix).” Megan took center stage, reminding the crowd of her Houston roots before confidently embodying the swagger of the song, declaring, “I’m that b*tch. Still that b*tch.”
Beyoncé cheered on Megan, shouting, “Yes, Megan!”
Among the celebrities in attendance were Lizzo, Normani, Teyana Taylor, Coco Jones, and Victoria Monét.
It’s hard to imagine how Beyoncé could top the first night in Houston. However, knowing her, she’ll find a way to make the final performance on Sunday, September 24, even more spectacular.
