Chinx’s legacy lives on.

The estate of the late Queen’s rapper released Chinx Drugs 6 ahead of his 39th birthday (December 4). Artists like Benny The Butcher, Offset, Chinx’s brother JFK WAXX, and more are featured on the album.

The project was approached with the same intensity and passion that Chinx was known to have throughout his career. In “Jackpot,” Chinx rapped about how he “came a long way from the crack spot” after the famous “Coke Boy Baby” drop. “Still Down” featuring Bynoe and Cau2g’s delivers a celebratory tone of staying down with the day ones and making it past adversities the streets can give. 

In 2015 on May 17, Chinx was gunned down in his hometown while sitting in his Porsche on . He was 31 at the time and was shot at multiple times in the torso. Two men were arrested and charged charged with second-degree murder. Our own Lisa Evers got exclusive coverage of the arrest in 2017.
