Unlike the inaugural project that featured Williamson’s first signature sneaker, the Jordan Zion 1, the latest project is centered around a new iteration of the Air Jordan 37. The shoe wears a tonal blue makeup that appears to be inspired by Naruto’s Rasengan, which is a move the character does to create a ball of chakra that destroys anything it touches. Confirming that this pair is designed for Williamson is his namesake branding on the tongue, while the character’s slogan “Believe It” is printed behind. A graphic of the Rasengan appears to be stamped on the footbed.
According to J23app, this Naruto x Air Jordan 37 will be released on Feb. 20 at Nike.com and at select Jordan Brand stockists. Keep it locked to Sole Collector for official updates.
