Earlier this year, the renowned rapper, producer, and executive Diddy made headlines by appearing completely nude in his music video for “Act Bad,” featuring City Girls and Fabolous. He demonstrated that he still has the ability to stir things up, even after many years in the industry. Now, he’s back with something new.

Diddy announced on Twitter on Tuesday that he will be releasing his fifth studio album, “The Love Album: Off The Grid,” on September 15. “I present to you my new album,” he wrote, adding, “R&B is alive!” The tweet included a teaser video featuring Justin Bieber, The Weeknd, and Mary J. Blige.

The nearly four-minute trailer starts with Diddy pondering aloud: “Why am I doing this? Especially with the success that I’ve had, especially where my life is, how stressful and treacherous this music industry is. Why would I just come back in here and have to do something that I don’t have to do?” He continues, “My heart has been broken. I’ve still got that question of, like, ‘Am I ever gonna love again?'”

In addition to his music, Diddy has also been active in entrepreneurial pursuits. Just last month, he launched Empower Global, an online marketplace for Black-owned businesses.

“The Love Album: Off The Grid” will be available on September 15.
