Diddy Says Spotify & Apple Music Can’t Control Him: ‘I’m Being Fucking Free’

Diddy seems to be irritated with digital streaming services (DSPs) like Apple Music and Spotify for trying to limit his music output.

This past Saturday (October 1) the video started appearing on social media sites of an Bad Boy executive seemingly accusing DSPs of trying to control the way that he and musicians alike are publishing their own music.

In the video, which is nearly one minute long that appears to be copied from the Diddy’s Instagram story the 50-year-old mogul expresses his displeasure with authorities from DSPs and the way they’re trying to disrupt the release dates of his songs.

“Yeah we gotta change tone,” Diddy said. “Check this out If you’re employed by Apple or Spotify and you’ve have this set of rules and rules. must take our music off when you’d like us to stop our music. Yo I’m dropping my music whenever I’m not ready to let go of my music. You’ll need to catch up, it’s fine.”

Diddy continued to claim that there’s several people trying to influence him, in as well as expressing his disdain for the excessive use of the data gathered from artificial intelligence algorithms employed to operate DSPs.

“These people out here trying to control me,” Diddy stated. “They are trying to take control of us, fuck that. I ain’t being controlled. I’m fucking out I didn’t get all the way just to be a slave to a algorithmor computer’s rulesFuck this.”

“I want to make it totally clear, if you fuck with my shit, play it,” said the rapper continued. “If you don’t, then it’s fine. This isn’t going to stop. You will never, ever cease this. Computers, not you, are not working, and neither is the media you use — can’t end the sensation of frequency , never or ever. God.”

Diddy did not continue to reveal any additional information about his plans for releasing new music, but his recent behavior certainly points to the release of new material by the close of the year.

After releasing the 16 tracks of his bad BOY CELEBRATES The Artist Who Didn’t Die In June, his band collaborated with Kentucky-born vocalist Bryson Tiller to record the “Gotta Move On” single.

The month of May saw Diddy was also the first to launch a brand new R&B label known as Love Records in collaboration with Motown Records and announced his plans to release his debut solo project since the release of 2007’s “Press Play” album. Diddy also signed the singer/songwriter Jozzy to be Love Records’ first artist and crowned her”the “R&B Biggie” in the process.
