Doja Cat is known for her bold and unapologetic approach to her music and style, and it’s clearly working for her. Her single “Paint The Town Red” became the first rap song of 2023 to top the Billboard Hot 100. Following this success, she made a memorable appearance at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards, wearing a daring spiderweb-like dress and delivering a captivating performance of “Attention,” “Paint The Town Red,” and “Demons.”

On September 20, Doja teased her fans with an Instagram post featuring images of her bare torso and bottom, hinting at a new release at 9pm PST the following day.

Her upcoming album “Scarlet” is set to be released on Friday, September 22. The album, which consists of 15 tracks, has no featured artists, a fact that Doja proudly highlighted when she unveiled the tracklist on September 12. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Doja gave some insight into her creative process for the album. She revealed that the album was created in two distinct periods, with the first three songs being different from the rest of the album which was created in a 10-day period in Malibu.

Before the release of “Scarlet,” Doja had already released “Attention,” “Demons,” and “Paint The Town Red.” She also added “Balut” to the list last week.

“Scarlet” will be available from September 22 via RCA. More information can be found here.
