The “It’s All A Blur Tour” featuring Drake and 21 Savage continued in Los Angeles, with the trend of surprise celebrity guests still going strong. Previous concerts saw appearances from Kendall Jenner and SZA, but this time, it was LeBron James and his son Bronny who stole the show.
LeBron and Bronny, who is reportedly doing well after a recent health scare, joined the rappers on stage. Drake, in a tribute to the LA Lakers, wore the team’s colors and even signed a fan’s copy of his poetry book while making his way through the crowd.
During the concert, Drake took a moment to acknowledge LeBron’s support in his early career. He recalled how LeBron attended the release party for his mixtape “So Far Gone” back in 2009 when he was still trying to make a name for himself. He expressed his gratitude for LeBron’s support, stating that LeBron traveled all the way to Toronto to support him when he was still figuring out how to live his dreams.
The friendship between Drake and LeBron has been well-documented over the years. In 2018, Drake appeared on an episode of LeBron’s HBO series, “The Shop”, where they discussed fatherhood among other topics. In 2020, Drake accompanied LeBron to watch Bronny play at his high school basketball game.
LeBron bringing his son to Drake’s concert adds another special moment to their friendship. You can check out Drake’s entrance with LeBron and Bronny, as well as his heartfelt speech, in the video above.
