Fans of Drake have been eagerly anticipating the release of his ninth studio solo album, “For All The Dogs”. As of now, not much information about the album is available, but some speculate it could be an R&B album, as Drake hinted at a return to his “old” style when he first announced the album. Fans had expected “For All The Dogs” to be released this past week, following an accidental tweet from Amazon Music that was later deleted, which had stated an August 25 release date.

When the album did not release as expected, fans were understandably disappointed. During a recent stop in Seattle for his “It’s All A Blur Tour” on August 25, Drake addressed the delay. He told fans, “I know you’re probably upset because I didn’t drop the album last night. I didn’t say it was dropping last night, so don’t be mad at me. I just said it’s coming soon. It’s not going to be that much longer, trust me. I’m finishing it up. You know I’ve got shows every night. But I promise you, ‘For All The Dogs’ is on the way.”

Drake concluded by hinting that the album might resemble some of his earlier work. He assured fans, “If you’ve ever loved anything I’ve ever done in the past, I promise you this album will be for you. I promise you it will be worth the wait.” A clip from the show can be seen above.
