Beyoncé’s fans have been eagerly awaiting the release of visuals for her popular album, Renaissance, since its launch last summer. The anticipation was somewhat diverted by her Renaissance World Tour and the viral “Eerbody On Mute” challenge. However, some fans continued to express their desire for visuals at tour venues, prompting Beyoncé to respond to one fan’s sign during her Louisville stop with, “You are the visual, baby.”
Recent reports suggest that the wait might soon be over. Jeff Sneider from Above The Line has reported that a visual album for Renaissance was secretly filmed by Nadia Lee Cohen. The report further suggests that the visual album is currently being pitched to various studios and streaming platforms. Cohen has previously worked with artists like Tyler The Creator, A$AP Rocky, Katy Perry, and Kali Uchis and brands such as Adidas, Balenciaga, Gucci, and Valentino. A source reportedly told Above The Line that the visual album is akin to an art film and is even better than Black Is King.
However, these reports are speculative and have not been confirmed by any of the parties allegedly involved. Therefore, fans can only continue to request Beyoncé for the visuals and hope for a positive outcome.
