In December, SZA released her highly anticipated album, SOS, which achieved remarkable success throughout 2023. Uproxx included it in their list of “Best R&B Albums Of 2023 So Far”. In January, SZA released the “Kill Bill” video and embarked on her headlining North American tour in February and March. The second leg of her North American tour is set to begin on September 20 in Miami, Florida.
On August 23, SZA confirmed that the video for “Snooze” will be released on August 25. This announcement came about two weeks after she shared two behind-the-scenes clips from the “Snooze” video shoot on Instagram.
“Snooze” has had a successful run on the charts, spending 36 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 and peaking at No. 10. It also spent 15 weeks on Billboard’s Radio Songs chart, peaking at No. 4, and 36 weeks on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, peaking at No. 3.
In addition to “Kill Bill”, SZA has also released videos for SOS tracks “Nobody Gets Me,” which she admitted made her “really f*cking sad,” and “Shirt,” a song that fans had been eagerly awaiting for over two years. The video for “Shirt” features actor Lakeith Stanfield alongside SZA.
