Rapper Kid Cudi, known for his song “Ill What I Bleed,” is no stranger to exploring fictional worlds like Star Trek. However, navigating the real world of Hollywood can be more challenging. Recently, fans speculated about a possible rift between Cudi and his friend, actor Timothée Chalamet, known for his role in “Wonka.”

Rumors circulated on TikTok that the pair’s friendship had soured after it was reported that Cudi had unfollowed Chalamet on social media. However, on September 10, Cudi took it upon himself to dispel these rumors.

Responding to a tweet featuring a selfie of the two celebrating New Year’s Day 2021 together, Cudi reassured fans that their friendship was still strong. He wrote, “What the hell? I literally just shouted him out in ‘Most Aint Dennis.’ I spoke to him a few weeks ago. Timmy is my brother ’til the end of time and beyond. I will always ALWAYS love him. We are good. Trust me. Idk where this is coming from, but please don’t believe the gossip online y’all.”

Cudi and Chalamet’s friendship dates back to when Chalamet was 17 years old. They first met after a concert by Cudi in Montreal, Québec, Canada. Since then, Chalamet has often expressed his gratitude for Cudi’s mentorship. In a 2019 interview on The Tonight Show, Chalamet even credited Cudi for his successful acting career.
