Following the success of her remix “Put It On Da Floor Again” with Cardi B, former Uproxx cover artist Latto has revealed her upcoming single. Titled “Issa Party”, the song is set to release on Friday, September 29, and features fellow Georgia native Baby Drill. The single’s artwork, a collage of Polaroid photos of Latto amidst party decorations, was shared by Latto herself. In the caption, she quotes, “I got shots for all the opps issa holiday!”
This collaboration is a significant opportunity for Baby Drill, who is associated with Young Nudy’s PDE imprint. He recently released the single “Slight Dub” with Nudy and 21 Savage. The emerging artist also released his third mixtape, MadMan, in June, just over six months after his previous project Drill Season. The latter included his first collaboration with Latto, “Freak”.
Latto, who refers to herself as “the biggest”, has been gaining more prominence due to her strategic collaborations. Besides Cardi B, she has also collaborated with K-pop star Jung Kook on his single “Seven”, which led to her first-ever No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. As her fame continues to rise, it’s great to see her sharing the spotlight.
“Issa Party” will be available on September 29.
