Lil Durk’s hit song from this past summer, “All My Life,” a collaboration with J. Cole, was a big success, reaching No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and gaining heavy airplay on radio and streaming platforms. However, the two rappers had never performed the song live together until September 22 at the iHeart Radio Festival in Las Vegas.

During his performance, Lil Durk surprised fans by inviting J. Cole on stage to perform “All My Life.” The audience responded enthusiastically to the surprise appearance, and the energy between the two artists was palpable.

Despite their musical chemistry, Lil Durk admitted in an interview with Complex that he felt J. Cole had outperformed him on the song. He said, “The number one thing, he smoked my ass on that, for one. Barely. That barely happens. But shoutout to Cole…We made it happen.”

A clip of the performance can be seen on Instagram.
