Lil Durk and Future are a lethal combination on any track and they’ve teamed up to deliver another menacing visual.

Smurk and Pluto joined forces for the violent “Mad Max” video on Friday (January 20), which originally landed on Only The Family’s Loyal Bros 2 compilation project.

Directed by DrewFilmedIt, Durkio and Future plot a chilling heist in Miami and with the stakes already high, they could pay the ultimate price with their lives. The action-packed clip also pays homage to the 2002 Jamaican cult-classic Shottas.

“Lil’ bro send shots all through your car, he think he Stephen Curry/I done dropped an eight inside my soda, that mean my drink is dirty/I’m gettin’ more money in the streets than Ross,” Future raps.

Lil Durk fires the final bullet to close out the visual while his entourage takes care of the rest of the opps in ski masks with assault rifles.

The Chicago drill rapper made headlines with his rugged verse from the song in December when he admitted he could’ve gotten caught up in the YSL RICO case as he taunted the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office in bizarre fashion.

“I could’ve been part of that RICO, I called Thug and told him every nigga I shot (Slime)/Whenever it’s war, you never see main names, you gotta get everybody he got (Blah),” he rhymes.

In October, Durk learned that his murder charges were dropped by Fulton County prosecutors related to his arrest in connection with a February 2019 shooting outside of Atlanta restaurant The Varsity.

The Chicago rapper and fellow OTF member King Von (who was killed in November 2020) were charged with criminal attempt to commit murder, as well as aggravated assault, participation in illegal street gang activity, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

However, the charges against Durk and the late Von were dropped due to “prosecutorial discretion” on October 22, according to WSB-TV.

In a Dismissal of Charges Motion issued by Georgia’s Superior Court of Fulton County, District Attorney Fani T. Willis said: “The facts of this case have been reviewed and, although it appears that probable cause existed for the defendant’s arrest, the decision of the District Attorney at this time is not to prosecute.”

Durk voiced his support for Thugger last month in a post to social media where he voiced his belief Thug was being “left to the wolves.”

Drop a [heart] if y’all want thugg home and not being blamed or left to the wolves #FREEJEFF,” he wrote before adding he was working on his next LP. “ALBUM MODE.”
