The year 2020 is the year of Wizkid’s emergence as an Afrobeats legend. The likes of Burna By, Tems and Damien Markey helped to make the album Made in Lagos help the singer build a following across the globe. The Nigerian superstar returns with a brand new album called More Love More Love, less Ego. The album features 13 tracks that have an identical sound and concept as the previous album. Wizkid‘s soft vocals sing about love, accompanied by percussive beats. “Give me less of that/ Give me more of you/ Give me something/ I will never want to lose” (Frames).
Alabama singer and rapper The Yung Blou gained popularity after his Drake remix to his single from 2020 “You’re Mines Still”. This remix was instrumental in helping his breakout album “Moon Boy” achieve success in its first week of sales. The second album of his studio, “TANTRA” discusses Bleu’s experiences as a rapper and producer. The album features artists like Kelly Rowland, Fivio Foreign, NIcki Minaj, Lucky Daye and French Montanta.
