Fans of the “Snooze” singer SZA are in for a treat as another guest verse from her vault is set to be released. This time, it’s a collaboration with multi-genre musician Jean Dawson, titled “No SZNs,” which will be released on Friday, September 22.

Dawson announced the upcoming duet on X (previously known as Twitter), sharing the official cover art created by his favorite artist, Josh Brizuela. The artwork features a hand-drawn silhouette of SZA, faceless and sitting in meditation atop a beast, which seems to symbolize Dawson’s wild approach to his creative endeavors.

Fans were quick to praise the cover art for its originality, with one fan comparing it to characters from Maurice Sendak’s children’s book, “Where The Wild Things Are.”

Dawson first teased the track in May on his official TikTok page. The shared snippet features him and SZA singing lyrics that evoke the changing seasons and the constant nature of life in California.

Details about the record remain scant at this point. Fans will have to wait until its official release to fully appreciate the song.
