Earlier in April, Noname released her latest album, Sundial, which has been eagerly awaited since her 2018 album, Room 25. The album was not without controversy, with backlash over a verse from Jay Electronica and a song that appeared to criticize Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Rihanna, and Kendrick Lamar.

Noname has now announced that she will be taking the songs from Sundial on tour this fall, marking her first tour in four years. The tour will start in her hometown of Chicago and will include stops in major cities such as New York, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Washington, Detroit, Dallas, Seattle, among others.
