Offset’s much-anticipated second solo album, which was significantly delayed due to unexpected and tragic events, is finally set to be released. The rapper recently announced the new release date and title on Instagram, following a reconciliation with Quavo after the death of their former bandmate, Takeoff. The album, titled “Set It Off,” is scheduled for release on October 13 through Motown/Capitol Records.

Offset’s wife, Cardi B, has previously joked about his admiration for Michael Jackson interfering with their intimate moments. However, this hasn’t stopped Offset from expressing his love for the pop icon. The cover of his new album features Offset in an outfit reminiscent of one of Jackson’s most iconic looks – a black suit, white shirt, black loafers with white socks, and a single white glove on his left hand.

The upcoming album is expected to include “Jealousy,” Offset’s latest single with Cardi B, as well as a posthumous verse from Takeoff. While Offset and Quavo have mostly put their past differences aside, it’s still unclear whether they’ll have a major reunion on “Set It Off” or save it for a future project.

“Set It Off” is set to be released on October 13 via Motown/Capitol.
