Rapper Sexyy Red, known for her hit “Hellcats SRTs 2,” has expressed her heartfelt condolences to two Florida families affected by a tragic incident. As reported by TMZ, a shooting occurred near the location where Sexyy Red was filming a music video with fellow artist Sukihana on the evening of September 14. The incident didn’t occur on the set, but close to the Oakland Park Flea Market in Oakland Park, Florida.
According to reports, two individuals were hit during the shooting, with one unfortunately pronounced dead at the scene by local authorities. Gerdy St. Louis, a representative from the Broward Sheriff’s Office, stated that deputies attempted to provide immediate medical assistance to the victims upon arrival. The second victim was quickly transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
Upon hearing about the tragic event, Sexyy Red issued a statement on her official Instagram page. In her statement, she clarified that the shooting did not occur on her video set but at a gas station across the street. She also thanked her production team and the Broward Sheriff’s Office for ensuring everyone’s safety on set. She emphasized that they were able to complete the shoot at a different location and everyone returned home safely. She urged people not to distort the facts and blame her for the incident.
