A TMZ report from the previous month suggested that Rihanna and ASAP Rocky welcomed their second child, a boy with a name beginning with ‘R’, on August 3. However, more recent information seems to provide a clearer picture.
The Blast has reportedly obtained the baby’s birth certificate, which reveals his name as Riot Rose Mayers. Contrary to the TMZ report, the document suggests that Riot was born on August 1 at 7:41 a.m. at Cedar Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles. Interestingly, ASAP Rocky recently released a new song titled “Riot (Rowdy Pipe’n)”.
Riot is the second child for Rihanna and Rocky. Their first child, RZA Athelston Mayers, was named after Wu-Tang Clan rapper RZA. Upon hearing the news earlier this year, RZA expressed his gratitude, stating that it was an honor to know that a new generation outside his own family found strength and inspiration in his name.
