Dave Chappelle celebrated his 50th birthday on August 24, marking five decades of remarkable achievements. Travis Scott has contributed to these accomplishments by featuring Chappelle in his Utopia track “Parasail” alongside Yung Lean. The song debuted at No. 53 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart dated August 12, marking Chappelle’s first-ever entry on the chart. Scott also serenaded Chappelle with “Happy Birthday” at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

As reported by The New York Post, Chappelle’s standup comedy tour stop at Madison Square Garden on August 22 also served as a birthday celebration. Chappelle was joined on stage by surprise guests Travis Scott and Burna Boy, who performed impromptu sets and sang “Happy Birthday” to Chappelle. Other notable figures such as Jeff Ross, Shane Gillis, George Wallace, Aziz Ansari, and Donnell Rawlings were present to open for Chappelle.

Footage of Burna Boy, Chappelle, and Scott relaxing backstage was shared by Complex. Fox News executive producer Sabrina Wolman also tweeted about the event, listing the special guests and sharing a video of Scott leading the crowd in singing “Happy Birthday” to Chappelle.

According to Vivid Seats, Chappelle will be returning to Madison Square Garden for performances on August 25 and 26. On the other hand, tickets for Scott’s Utopia – Circus Maximus Tour have not yet gone on sale. The Detroit News reported on August 8 that the tour has adjusted its timeline and tickets will not be available this week, with more information to be released once new details are available.
